The movement

Villagers of play

Anyone — any age, any background, any city — who believes in how we

play shapes who we become. And that every community deserves a place

to do it together.

our definition of play

"Play is any activity that is self-directed, voluntary, and free from the pressure of a single correct

outcome. It is how humans — at every age — develop identity, build trust, solve problems, and

build belonging."

TTV MODEL of play

Play as connection

• Builds relationships

• Creates belonging

• Breaks down barriers

Play as creation

• Encourages experimentation

• Drives creativity

• Leads to projects and outputs

Play as opportunity

• Develops in-demand skills

• Opens pathways (edu, jobs, etc.)

• Connects to industry and ecosystems

The youth

A 14-year-old at the Forge on Tuesday felt unsure where they belonged. They showed up, took a challenge, earned XP, and discovered something real about themselves.

The traveler

Young people from TTV compete at major events, host pop-ups, and start conversations—extending the vision city by city and showing how play plants new roots for each village.

The business owner

A local shop in Lancaster, wanting to matter in their community, became an Organization of Play. Watching young people create outcomes and seeing play build stronger communities.

The villager of play

Anyone who sees the gap and believes in our model—city councilmembers, foundations, parents who show up and stay—are Villagers of Play who help fulfill our mission together.

Villagers of Play — The goal

The movement Arc

Phase 1 - Start local

Antelope Valley

Make the Forge undeniable. Every story, every partner, every young person who grows — this is the proof that the village is real.

Phase 2 - Scale the model

City by city

Orgs of Play and the Youth Travel Org carry the model. The village replicates through community activation, not franchise.

Phase 3 - build the network

1,000,000 Villagers of Play

Physical villages linked by a shared ecosystem. A million people connected by purpose — the infrastructure of belonging at scale.
